Chrome extension
Expand snippets on websites in Chrome, Edge and Brave, with or without the desktop app.
The dashboard#
Click the LazyBoard icon in the toolbar and choose Open dashboard. The dashboard is the same editor as the desktop app: folders, snippets, the Variables panel, Trash and Settings.
Expand on websites#
Type an abbreviation in a text field or a rich editor (such as Gmail or a help-desk reply box). It expands as soon as you finish typing it, and you can keep editing before you send.
Search from the popup#
Click into the field, then click the toolbar icon or press AltShiftL. Search your library and choose a snippet to insert it. Choose Copy when a page doesn’t allow insertion.
Where it can’t insert#
- Browser settings pages, the Chrome Web Store and password fields don’t allow extensions to insert text.
- Some complex editors block insertion; use Copy and paste.
- Clipboard variables need clipboard access and may not work on insecure
http://pages.
Your data#
Snippets are stored in your Chrome profile and work without an account. Removing the extension or clearing browser data removes unsynced snippets, so use Settings → Export backup first. Sign in to sync with your other devices (Pro). Read the Chrome extension privacy policy.
