Privacy policy
This policy describes how Sweepix Photos Cleaner (“Sweepix,” “we,” or “our”), developed by Elsayed Hussein, handles information when you use our mobile app. For privacy questions, contact hello@lazyboard.app.
Your photos stay in your library. Sweepix processes photos and videos on your device to help you review and organize them. We do not upload your photo or video files to our servers. Purchase services and, on iOS, analytics process limited information as explained below.
1. Photo and video access
With your permission, Sweepix accesses photos, videos, thumbnails, and associated library information, such as media identifiers, dates, sizes, and album membership. We use this access to display your library, organize and compare media, show storage information, and carry out the cleanup actions you choose.
You can restrict or revoke photo access in your device settings. Limited access means Sweepix can only work with the items made available to it. On iOS, Apple may download an original from your iCloud Photos library when it is needed; this is handled through Apple’s photo services, not by uploading your library to Sweepix.
When you confirm deletion, Sweepix requests changes through the operating system’s media-library tools. Recovery and Recently Deleted or Trash behavior depend on your platform and photo service. Uninstalling Sweepix does not undo media deletions.
2. Information stored on your device
Sweepix stores preferences, review progress, media references, cached information, and cleanup statistics locally to provide its features. Your device’s backup or transfer services may include app data, depending on your operating system and backup settings. Sweepix does not require a separate Sweepix account.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payments. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, and manage premium entitlements. These services process purchase and subscription information, transaction identifiers, an app-specific customer identifier, and technical information such as app version and device platform. Sweepix does not receive your full payment-card details.
Manage or cancel a subscription through the store where you purchased it. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy, Apple’s privacy policy, and Google’s privacy policy.
4. Analytics and technical information
The iOS app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app use and improve features. Information may include app interactions, purchase or premium status, app-instance or device identifiers, device and operating-system information, and general location inferred from an IP address. This information is not necessarily anonymous. We do not send your photo or video files to Firebase Analytics.
The Android version covered by this policy does not currently include Firebase Analytics. Store services and RevenueCat may still process operational and purchase-related technical information. Learn more about Firebase privacy and data processing.
5. Support and sharing
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and resolve problems. Please avoid sending sensitive photos or other information that is not needed for support.
We use service providers for the purposes described above. We do not sell your photo library or personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, and prevent abuse. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable data-protection arrangements.
6. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains until it is cleared, replaced during normal app use, or removed with the app, subject to device backup settings. Photos and videos remain under the control of your device’s photo library and any cloud photo service you use.
Support records are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and related follow-up. Purchase records may be retained to provide and restore entitlements, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Analytics retention follows the service’s configured retention settings. Some aggregated reporting may remain after individual records are deleted.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information we can associate with you, email hello@lazyboard.app with “Sweepix privacy request.” We may ask for information needed to locate the record and verify your request. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. We will explain any information we must retain. Requests concerning your Apple or Google account or backups should also be directed to that provider.
7. Your choices and security
You can change media permissions in device settings, manage subscriptions through your store account, clear app data where your platform supports it, or uninstall the app. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
