Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Fontify, developed by Elsayed Hussein, handles information in the iOS app and its keyboard extension. For privacy requests, email lazyboardapp+fontify@gmail.com.
Text you type stays on your device. Fontify transforms text into decorative characters locally. The keyboard does not request Full Access, and Fontify does not send the text you type in the keyboard or font preview to our servers for conversion.
Keyboard and local information
The keyboard receives the text and limited surrounding context that iOS makes available so it can insert and edit characters. Font selection, sound and vibration settings, and Pro access status are stored on your device and shared between the app and keyboard through an iOS App Group. The app may use the device clipboard when you choose to copy text or use a clipboard feature. Fontify does not require a Fontify account.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and payments. Fontify uses RevenueCat to check subscription status, restore purchases, and unlock Pro features. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase records, transaction identifiers, an app-specific customer identifier, and device or app information needed for these functions. Fontify does not receive your full payment-card details. See Apple's privacy information and RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Analytics and crash reports
The Fontify app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure app interactions and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes. These services may process event names, Pro status, app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system details, crash traces, and related technical information. This information may be linked to an app installation and is not necessarily anonymous. We do not deliberately include typed text in analytics events or crash reports. Support, sharing, and retention
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to send. We use it to respond and investigate issues. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive text in support messages. We share information with Apple, RevenueCat, and Google only as needed for the functions described above; we do not sell your typed text or personal information.
Local preferences remain until you change them or remove the app, subject to iOS backups. Purchase records and support correspondence may be kept as needed to provide access, handle requests, and meet legal obligations. Analytics and crash data follow the providers' configured retention periods. Providers may process data outside your country under their own data-protection arrangements.
Your choices and requests
You can disable the Fontify keyboard in iOS Settings, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account, or remove the app. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information we can associate with you, email lazyboardapp+fontify@gmail.com. We may need information to locate and verify a record. Requests concerning your Apple account or device backups should be directed to Apple.
Changes
We may update this policy as Fontify or its services change. The date above shows the latest revision. We will provide additional notice where required.
